ANCIENT NIKOPOLI

The ancient Nicopolis, built by the Romans in 27 bc. X. with the ancient theatre and the mosaics. (50 km). from Parga and 7 km. from the town of Preveza.

NECROMANCY

The Oracle (20 km from Parga), where, in ancient Greek mythology, Charon (ferryman – guide of the dead) lead the souls, through the Acherousian lake in the world below.

MEMORIAL ZALLOGOY

At a distance close to the archaeological site of Κασσώπης, over endowed in vegetation Kamarina, stands the historic rock of Zalongo, where 63 Women with their children dragged in 1803, the dance of death, not to fall into the hands of the men of Ali pasha.

THE CASTLE OF PARGAS

ANCIENT DODONI

The theater of Dodona (2000 p.X.) it is one of the largest and best-preserved ancient Greek theaters, with posts about 18000 people. Was an integral part of the sanctuary of Dodona, and was particularly impressive for the visitor, that reached from the south side of a and was the most conspicuous monument, dominating the space with curved surfaces and the towering walls held.

CASTLE OF ANTHOUSAS - SAINT

The castle of Anthousa – Agia is between Booming and the Hagia to a hill that overlooks the whole area of Parga. The massive imposing fortress built by Ali pasha to supervise and lay siege to the rebellious town of Parga.
